How To Install A Bidet

What is a bidet?

A bidet is a cleaning appliance in bathrooms. It has a multitude of uses, from washing your bottom to cleaning your feet. They’re a useful addition to your home and are actually required by law in many European countries.

How much space do I need to leave?

You may think every bidet is the same size as a toilet, but this often isn’t the case. Always measure your bidet first to make sure it fits in the space you have planned for it. There are also a few different types of bidets you can buy, from wall mounted, to floor mounted, to toilet seat bidets – although these are very different to freestanding versions.

Do I have to hire a plumber?

Fitting a bidet is partly a plumbing job, so it’s not a project to take on lightly. You’ll need to have a few DIY skills up your sleeve, a waste pipe and pipe for taps ready to plumb it in. As always, if you’re not sure, we’re here to help. Simply pop in-store and one of our experts will be happy to help you get started.
