1. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excludes, northern

Ireland residents, employees of Homebase (the “Promoter”), their families, agents or any

third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.

2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.

3. All entries must be submitted by following Homebase and Grass Gains on Instagram,

like and tag a friend in the comments of the Instagram competition post and share the

post to your Instagram stories. Only one entry per individual is permitted. The Promoter

reserves the right to refuse entries which it reasonably suspects originates from an

existing entrant.

4. The opening date for entries is 10:00 on 27th June 2024. The closing date of the prize

draw is 23:59 on 04th July 2024. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a

technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite,

network or server failure of any kind.

6. One winner will be selected at random via a generator and winner will be notified by

Instagram DM from the Homebase account on 8th July 2024 ("Draw Date").

7. The winner will receive – A lawn makeover with Grass Gains with a value up to £490,

Maximum lawn space of 400m2 for lawn transformation. Products used on lawn include

mow the lawn, short scarify 3-4 ways, aerate, selective weedkiller super seed, black

edition and top dressing. Lawn transformation will take a max of 4-6 weeks

8. The winner will be notified by Instagram DM from the Homebase account and must

provide a postal address and contact details (email) to claim their prize. If a winner does

not respond to the Promoter within 10 days of the Promoter’s Instagram DM, then the

winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner

in accordance with the process described above.

9. The prize - Date of lawn transformation to be arranged by prize winner and Grass Gains,

Lawn Transformation to take place within 60 days of prize confirmation.

10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative

is offered.

11. The prize is supplied by HHGL Limited t/a Homebase. The Promoter reserves the right

to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances

beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

12. The decision of the Promoter (under the supervision of the independent person where

the decision relates to the random draw) regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final

and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

13. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a

valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the

surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning

entries, to anyone who emails media.relations@homebase.co.uk or writes to Witan Gate

House, 500-600 Witan Gate, Milton Keynes, MK9 1BA (enclosing a self-addressed

envelope) within [one] month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to

any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available,

please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the

information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

14. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and

conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to

award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion

where it becomes necessary to do so.

16. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any

circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability

for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize

3. UPLOAD a photo or a legible scan of the following documents to finalise your registration:

- A photo of your invoice showing the name of the participant or a receipt with the date of purchase, the price and the reference of the product purchased circled. If the reference does not appear on your receipt, you must request an invoice. Note that order forms will not be accepted.

- A photo of the original barcode of eligible product (13-digit number) and the serial number of your product, which is on the shipping carton. (peeled labels will not be accepted, the cardboard must be clearly cut).

- Your bank statement showing your account’s IBAN code.

4. ELIGIBILITY AND REIMBURSEMENT

If your application meets all the conditions of the Offer, you will receive your refund according to the Weber-Stephen product purchased by bank transfer only within 3 to 4 weeks from the date of receipt of the applications and their validation.

You will be informed by email of the compliance or non-compliance of your entry. Remember to check your email regularly.

Weber-Stephen reserves the right to consider as null and void any participation that does not comply with the present conditions and/or to refuse to take into account any invalid participation and in particular for the following reasons

- Any invoice with an anomaly (crossed out, blurred, rewritten, incomplete*, falsified,) or sent after the date of 6^th of September 2024.

- Any invoice for which the contact details on the proof of purchase differ from the contact details on the online form (in particular the information relating to the surname/first name)

- If the product purchased and indicated on the invoice is not an eligible product for the operation.

- Any claim made after the deadline

*Any incomplete application (e.g., missing proof of purchase and supporting documents).

Any refund queries must be brought to the attention of Weber-Stephen & Take Off before 30^st of September 2024, by writing to the following address service.consommateur@take-off.fr, specifying the operation number (3976) in the subject of your e-mail. The operation will be definitively closed after this date.

Purchases made in shops or on websites of companies not registered in the United Kingdom will not be taken into account.

The organising company cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of requests due to problems beyond its control. No participation fee will be refunded.

5. Privacy policy

In order to carry out the offer, we must process your personal data. Your personal data will be processed by the controller Weber-Stephen Products (U.K) Limited, 10th Floor Metro Building, 1 Butterwick, London W6 8DLwithin the meaning of Article 4 (7) UK GDPR.

Data categories

The personal data required for the cashback are

• First and last name,
• Title
• shipping address,
• e-mail address,

Purpose and legal basis

The offer data is processed based on Article 6 (1) (b) UK GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the offer. The data collected enables communication with participants.

Recipient

The offer is carried out by our processor AKE OFF - Service DPO, CS 50454, 13096 Aix en Provence, (France), with whom we have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)[GL1] in accordance with Article 28 UK GDPR.

Storage period

We will delete data processed by us or restrict processing in compliance with the statutory provisions, in particular in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 UK GDPR. Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotion is being run by HHGL Limited trading as Homebase of Witan Gate House, 500-600 Witan Gate, Milton Keynes, Bucks MK9 1BA with company registration number 00533033 (the "Promoter").

2. The Prize is a £250/250 EUR (two hundred and fifty pounds/euro) Homebase gift card (the "Prize") and there is one prize available.

a. The Prize must be claimed within one month of being notified

b. There is no cash alternative to the Prize.

3. To enter the Promotion, entrants must complete the following steps:

5. The Promotion is open to residents of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland except:

a. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, the Promoter's agencies or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion

b. any member of the immediate family or household of any person referred to in clause 5(a).

6. Multiple entries are permitted per person. Entries made on behalf of another person will be disqualified. Entries that are delivered late, incomplete, or otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted. Entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.

7. By entering this Promotion you grant Homebase consent to use your image free of charge on their social media accounts for an indefinite period. You assign to the Promoter absolutely with full title guarantee all your right, title and interest in and to the copyright and all other rights (including without limitation all performers' property rights under Part II of the CDPA) throughout the world in all media and all renewals, revivals, reversions and extensions thereof (and thereafter, insofar as the Ambassador is able, in perpetuity) including by way of present assignment of future copyright.

8. Entrants under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian over 18 to enter the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of such consent and to refuse entry or to choose another winner if such proof is not provided when requested.

9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are uploaded incorrectly or incomplete, regardless of cause (including but not limited to technical malfunction or software failure of any kind). Entries must be received before the Closing Date. Entries submitted after the Closing Date will be disqualified.

10. The one prize winner will be selected at random via an independent tool.

11. The Promoter or one of its agents will notify the winners directly via social media.

a. The winner will be told via direct message how to collect their Prize.

12. Winner will be notified within 10 days of the Closing Date.

13. If a winner doesn’t respond within 5 days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to another entrant.

14. The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of entrants. Any information collected in connection with this Promotion will only be processed by the Promoter:

a. for the purpose of administering this promotion;

b. for the purpose of announcing the winner on our platform(s);

c. in compliance with the Promoter's privacy policy as amended from time to time.

15. Notwithstanding Clause 14 above, the winner’s forename and surname initial, will be available on request for one month after the prize has been claimed by sending an email to media.relations@homebase.co.uk. Entrants may object to the disclosure of this information by sending an email to media.relations@homebase.co.uk by 13/10/2023. The information shall nevertheless be made available to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.

16. In the event of impediments or circumstances outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer, at its discretion, a broadly similar prize of equal or higher value. No cash alternative will be available.

17. The Promoter's decision in all matters relating to the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or subcontractors.

19. Subject to clause 19, the Promoter, its agents and sub-contractors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for any loss or damage arising out of or occurring in connection with the Promotion.

20. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion if in the Promoter's sole opinion it is necessary to do so.

21. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

22. This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
