Wisteria is a deciduous climber with leaves comprising up to 15 leaflets. Amethyst Falls is know for its fragrant amethyst purplish-blue flowers with a yellow spot, each flower is up to 2cm in diameter and are densely produced on trailing stems 5-15cm long. The flowers appear during Summer over bright green foliage. This variety is disease resistant and drought tolerant once established. This 19cm wisteria on trellis is hardy and easy to grow, perfect to be trained up a wall or pergola.
