Product Information

The Regency pointed cabbage, also known as a cone, sweetheart, hisi or sugarloaf cabbage, is an hybrid cabbage, with tapering shape and large delicate leaves varying in colour from yellow to blue-green. It tastes less pronounced and more delicate than common white cabbage. It is one of the earliest cabbages grown in the UK from May to November, the long harvest period is helped by its notable bolt resistance. Due to it's more delicate leaves, the Regency sweetheart cabbage needs less cooking, hence this cabbage can be shredded in salads, added to stir-fries, cooked as is or mixed into soups.
