The Sutton is an excellent dwarf variety of broad beans which produces an abundance of tender beans in a 15cm (6in) pod. The compact, bushy nature of this broad bean makes it ideal for container growing or smaller areas.

May be grown in pots, grow bags or directly planted into the ground. The planting area should be prepared beforehand working in any necessary compost or fertiliser. Water well before planting and keep moist when growing, especially during warm weather. Pinch out the top growth when in full flower to obtain better-filled pods and avoid black fly. Harvest Spring to autumn.
