Ideal for making indentations in wood or other materials in order to ease the insertion of a nail or screw. Can be used on wood, plastic and other composite materials. The STANLEY bradawl helps to prevent splitting of the wood along the grain and improve the location of insertion of screws and nails. The sharp blade is hardened for improved repetitive cutting, whilst the textured handle offers improved grip for greater performance. The blade has been nickel plated for greater rust resistance and greater durability.
