The Kestrel potato is a fairly recent introduction which is fast becoming a household favourite due to its flavour. A second early which has smooth skin with bonny blue eyes and is ideal for baking, chipping and boiling. It has good resistance to blackleg, as well as potato virus, slugs, eelworm and bruising.
