Ipheion, also known as the Spring Starflower, has stems of 15-20cm, adorned with sweetly scented pale silvery blue or white star-shaped flowers. Lax green leaves appear before flowers, usually in winter, but opportunistic growth may occur in autumn. These bulbs are ideal for rockeries, containers or naturalising in the garden.
