Roses are perennial plants with beautiful flower heads of delicate petals. Currently the rose has roughly 150 known species, not including garden hybrids which can raise that number into the thousands. We have a wide selection of standard roses, climbing roses and patio roses, ideal for pots and containers.

Planting is best between May and August, and roses should be positioned in full sunlight, in well drained and fertile soil. When planting your roses make sure to prepare the planting hole with a layer of quality compost to aid growth. If the soil is clay based, you might want to add some soil conditioner.

To maintain healthy roses, prune between March and April, and follow the helpful tips in our guide ‘How to care for roses’. We can help your roses become the envy of your neighbours and a joy to admire.
