Product Information
Only one plant supplied.
Growing most ferns isn't difficult. There are just a few basic pointers you need to follow to have success with most of the common houseplant ferns available. Mist your ferns as often as practical, preferably in the morning. Keep a spray bottle handy and train your family members to use it whenever they pass by the fern. Stand the pot on a tray of pebbles or clay granules and keep those wet. Another option is to keep your ferns in the bathroom, which will usually be the most humid room of your dwelling.
- Air purifying plants
- Fantastic plants for your bathroom
- Easy to grow but be aware of high humidity, drafts and don't let the soil dry out
- Fantastic in combination with natural containers like baskets or wooden pots

Soil Type
Most ferns are forest or woodland plants and have tender, delicate roots adapted to the light forest soil, which is rich in leaf mold and decayed vegetable matter. The right compost must be free draining so that the roots never get waterlogged. A compost that contains peat or a fibrous peat substitute with plenty of sand is best. The compost should never be allowed to dry out, which may mean watering the plant a little every single day in a warm, dry atmosphere.
