Daphne are small to medium sized shrubs, with clusters of fragrant pink, white or yellow flowers in various seasons, depending on species. Most are evergreen or simi-evergreen and although most are hardy, all like a warm, sheltered spot with light shade. Daphne have been voted one of the most fragrant shrubs in the UK and have been described as a must-have plant by the RHS.
