Easy to assemble and simple, free moving crank to tilt / expand the parasol itself. Does the job of protecting the LayZspa pool. The only drawback is the method of counterbalancing needed; you can either buy the high priced slabs designed for it (x4) or, if you're not bothered particularly with looks, buy 4 small paving slabs at a quarter of the price instead.

This is a large and effective garden parasol. So far it seems good quality for the price, but note this sort of cantilevered umbrella needs weights to hold the base, which cost the same again. I don't think Homebase sell them though. This comes with a metal base that needs fixing to the ground or weighting down. Their other bases will not fit.

Looks lovely. very stylish... bit of trouble putting up as heavy but sturdy and recent strong winds have not moved it.

We love this parasol. We find it so less obtrusive than a fixed central parasol. You can make a completely separate designated area in your garden or on your patio, not only for eating but for lounging in the shade too. It's great.

Managed to put it together before finding the instructions. Sturdy. Quality. Four paving slabs secure the base. As another reviewer said, I'd like to get a cover for it - the instructions say one is available, but haven't managed to track it down yet.

Love this parasol the fact that the support arm is behind the chairs gives plenty of space .Could do with cover ,will have to make one if unable to find one to buy. Also did not need to duy a base as advised on line as it comes with its own one which can be secured to the ground. So I will have to return the base unit I was sold to go with it.which would have been to narrow for it anyway.
