How to lay vinyl flooring

Vinyl plank flooring is one of the simplest flooring options to fit. To start with, ensure that your floor space is clean, dust-free and even. Before you stick any tiles down, set out your laying pattern - it's often easiest to start from the midpoint. Once you're happy with the pattern, you can start to stick your tiles by peeling off the protective film at the back. Gently press the tiles onto your surface, taking care to check that there's no dirt or dust underneath. If you need to fill any gaps, tiles can be carefully cut to shape with a craft knife. How to clean vinyl flooring

When cleaning luxury vinyl flooring, start by sweeping or hoovering to remove any loose dust and dirt. Then, fill a bucket with warm water and a little washing up liquid - you will use this to remove any surface marks and greasy spills. Using a damp cloth or mop, work your way methodically across the floor area, taking care to wring out your cloth or mop for more effective cleaning. Once dry, your floor should look as good as new.
