Product Information
Forsythias are renowned for their vibrant yellow flowers, which appear in early spring all along the bare branches, largely before the leaves unfurl. They usually form large, upright shrubs with arching stems and are deciduous. Green Summer leaves turn orange-yellow in Autumn then drop to reveal yellow stems with fiery red tips in Winter. Forsythias contribute hugely to the reawakening of the garden after winter. You can use it as a specimen shrub or as part of an informal, flowering hedge.
- Coloured stems for Winter colour
- Amazing bright yellow flowers in spring
- Can be pruned hard, to avoid it from growing to large
