Trachelospermum jasminoides is a vigorous, woody evergreen climber that grows to about 9m in height. Twining stems support glossy dark green, oval leaves of up to 10cm in length, often turning deep bronze-red in winter. Clusters of very fragrant, white star-shaped flowers 2.5cm in width are produced in mid to late summer. This is a great choice for year-round interest on walls, fences, trellises or garden sculpture and is easy to grow.
