Dulux Plaster Sealer - 1L is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from not as expected I bought this item in readiness for my decorator to use on a newly plastered bathroom ceiling. He applied the product as instructed ~ the final colour of the ceiling was to be white so it was concerning that the sealer dried out to a dark mustard shade. So, when the decorator applied the white paint a few days later, the result was patchy and ultimately it required 4 coats! I have, however, spoken to other trades people who think that diluting paint is just as good for a freshly plastered ceiling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Very sticky - I used a brush to apply this as directed and you can still see the brush marks on the wall. Would not recommend think the best way to seal plaster is to use watered down paint and lots of it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scary Stuff! I purchased this to use on my freshly-plastered bathroom ceiling - I didn't want to risk any problems given the cost of the plasterer! I applied as directed to a beautifully pink, smooth ceiling. And ended up with what looked like a patchy, streaky disaster with brush and roller marks all over! Fortunately, application of the white emulsion after the recommended drying time has resulted in a great finish. Phew! But things were scary for a while and the males in my family really did wind me up, telling me I should have used a variety of other things that would have cost less and not resulted in the scary phase. However, I'm hopeful that it does do 'what it says on the tin' and that I've done the best thing for my bathroom!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from does the job Having had walls and ceiling replastered this is great for sealing it before you paint. It is quite expensive for the size of tin ,but a little goes a long way.Bonus is that its dries really quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from blue to clear easy to apply and with it being blue you can see what you are doing it then dries clear so when you paint it ,it doesn't show through
