Conifers are a group of cone-baring, woody seed plants, mostly trees and evergreen, characterised by their attractive conical shape. They are an excellent way of adding wonderful colour, shape and structure for year round interest and are relative easy to look after. They can be used as hedging, solitary or be shaped into topiary. If topiarising, it will need regular pruning.
