Thompson and Morgan Strawberry Honeoye Bare Root 24 Pack

Honeoye’ strawberries are a leading commercial variety, renowned for their mid-season bounty of firm, bright red, and well-flavoured fruits, ready for picking from June to early July. This dependable strawberry boasts excellent disease resistance, promising a rewarding summer harvest of tasty fruits, perfect for enjoying fresh, transforming into delectable jams and sauces, or freezing for later use in puddings.
Ideally suited for container growing on patios or in rows on allotments. Plant these strawberry plants in autumn or late spring in a sheltered, sunny spot with well-manured, free-draining soil. Space strawberry runners 45cm (18") apart in rows spaced at 75cm (30"). Ensure their roots are spread out and positioned so the crown of the plant is just above the surface, avoiding planting too deeply to prevent rotting. Alternatively, cultivate strawberry plants in hanging baskets or specially designed strawberry planters for the patio.
Water strawberries frequently throughout the growing season and keep rows weed-free. When growing in baskets and containers, feed plants every two weeks.
