Its glossy black berries freeze beautifully, extending the enjoyment. Unlike many blackcurrants, its compact nature (H150 x W100cm when mature) makes it ideal for smaller gardens, patios, borders, or even as a fruiting hedge. The abundant, juicy berries ripen in strings and hang on the bush until August, providing a long harvest. This frost and disease-resistant plant (resistant to powdery mildew and rust) is perfect for beginner fruit growers. Supplied as an established plant in a 1.7L pot, ready to plant out or pot on from February to November. It will flower April to May, with a July to August harvest.
