Planting instructions
For outdoor sowing: March to May in a prepared seed bed. Sow in wide double rows 60cm apart with 15cm between seeds. Space in a zig-zag pattern. Cover with 5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Care Protect with cloches in cold, wet weather. Keep moist and weed free. Plants may require support in exposed locations. Harvest June to August. Pick regularly while beans are small and tender. For indoor sowing February to April. In pots of moist compost. Sow one or two seeds per pot. Cover with 2.5cm of fine compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 10-21 days. Keep at approx. 15-20C. Stand outside for a few days from April (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in a zig-zag pattern, in wide rows 60cm apart. Harvest June to July. Pick regularly while beans are small and tender
