Thompson and Morgan Tree Lily Monet Planting Bulb 3 Pack

A customer favourite, the Tree Lily 'Monet' is known for its impressive height and breathtaking blooms. Producing exotic-looking, pretty pale pink and white flowers, this lily can reach up to 1.8 metres (6ft) tall in its first year. It’s pollen-free, so it won’t stain, yet retains its vibrant colour and fragrance.
Ideal for creating a stunning garden screen, or for cutting and displaying in a vase indoors. Oriental lilies thrive in moist, free-draining, neutral to acidic soil that’s rich in organic matter. Before planting, enrich the soil with well-rotted manure or garden compost. When growing in containers, use a loam-based compost like John Innes No.2.
Plant lily bulbs approximately three times their height deep and 15cm (6") apart in a sheltered, sunny spot. Throughout the growing season, feed and water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist. When cutting flowers for indoor arrangements, leave a third of the stem intact to nourish the bulb for the following year.
Reduce watering over winter and move container-grown lilies to a cool, frost-free location. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or garden compost in spring. Every other year, divide and repot container-grown lilies into fresh compost.
