Product Information
Easy to grow and a delicious taste, the Pentland Javelin is a first early potato and although it takes a week or two longer than other cultivars to bulk up, it then produces a high number of tubers per plant which can be left in the ground for a longer period, resulting in a larger, more floury potato. It is a firm favourite with creamy-white flesh that rarely discolours when cooked and is best boiled as a salad or new potato. It has good resistance to potato scab, mild mosaic virus, slugs and bruising.
- Harvest early Summer
- Very popular
- Smooth texture when cooked
- All-round variety
