Included are three varieties: Honeoye, an early season type that produces firm, bright red fruits renowned for their flavour and quality, ready to harvest from June to early July, and ideal for jams or freezing. Cambridge Favourite, a mid-season choice, is known for its heavy yields of juicy, orange-red berries with an excellent taste and texture, is highly reliable and adapts to most growing conditions. Pegasus, a mid-to-late season RHS award-winning variety, produces medium-large, soft, and sweet fruit. Suitable for organic growing, it boasts resistance to common diseases like verticillium wilt and crown rot.
How to Grow: For best results, plant in a sunny, sheltered spot and protect from late frosts. Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells and when the plants are fruiting. Apply a high potash fertiliser every two weeks during the growing season, and ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal diseases.
