Product Information

  • Produces juicy orange-red fruits from June to July
  • Grows well in full sun, reaching upto 20cm in height
  • Excels in containers or sunny patios

A summer garden isn't complete without the Strawberry ‘Cambridge Favourite’, renowned for its heavy yields and exceptional taste and texture. Perfectly suited for containers on the patio or in the kitchen garden, these plants are ideal for saving space. This reliable variety thrives in a range of conditions, producing delicious fruit that can be enjoyed as a snack, in desserts, or in cakes.
For best results, plant in autumn or late spring in a sunny, sheltered spot with well-manured, free-draining soil. Space plants 45cm (18") apart in rows spaced 75cm (30") apart. Ensure the crown of the plant is just above the soil surface to prevent rotting. Alternatively, grow in hanging baskets or dedicated strawberry planters on the patio.
Water frequently throughout the growing season and keep rows weeded. Plants in baskets and containers benefit from feeding every two weeks.
