Bred in Japan, this unique dwarf Jacaranda is a must-have! This stunning variety begins to flower from just 70cm tall, reaching a full height of only 1.5m. Imagine the spectacular purple-blue blooms appearing in May and June each year – and from such a young age! Perfect for patio containers, this dwarf tree showcases fabulous flowers complemented by delicate, ferny foliage.
For best results, grow your Jacaranda in a sheltered, sunny spot with sandy, well-drained soil. As a tender tree that can only withstand temperatures down to -2°C (28°F), it’s ideal for container growing, allowing you to move it indoors to a heated greenhouse or conservatory during winter. Once the weather warms in spring, it can return to the patio.
