- Clubroot resistant for healthy brassica growth
- Suited for full sun and fertile soil
- High yield from July to October harvest
Bred over 18 years to combat brassica disease, T&M presents a clubroot-resistant collection, perfect for baskets and containers. These postiplugs offer exceptional value and produce abundant, tasty vegetables from July to October. The collection includes: Brussels Sprout ‘Crispus’, Cauliflower ‘Clapton’, Broccoli ‘Monclano’, and Cabbage Savoy ‘Cordesa’ (one postiplug of each).
For best results, grow brassicas in firm, rich, fertile, and well-drained soil, in a sunny or partially shaded location, ideally where beans or peas have previously grown. Enrich the soil in early spring with plenty of well-rotted farmyard manure to improve soil structure and fertility. On acidic soils, apply lime to reduce acidity and minimise clubroot risk.
Plant brassicas 60cm (24”) apart, covering with netting or fleece to protect from birds and insects. Water thoroughly after planting.
