Preparation:** Walls must be flat, rigid, and clean. Prime dusty or wooden surfaces with diluted UniBond Super PVA. Mark a horizontal line (one tile plus grout space) from the bottom, and a vertical centre line using a plumb line. Begin tiling at their intersection.
Adhesive Application:** Apply adhesive to the wall using a tiling trowel. Fix tiles within 30 minutes, pressing firmly with a twisting action. Use tile spacers for even grout lines. Remove excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth. Tile small areas, finishing with the bottom row.
Grouting:** Allow ceramic tiles to set for at least 24 hours, porcelain and large tiles for 72 hours, or until the adhesive is set. Apply grout to small areas, pressing it into joints with a grout float. Smooth the grout lines, remove excess with a damp sponge (wipe diagonally), and let dry for 24 hours. Polish with a clean cloth. Maintain mould-free grout by regularly washing with a fungicidal cleaner.
