Thompson & Morgan Wild Flowers Cornfield Annuals Mix Scatter Pack

Unleash a riot of colour in your garden with this effortless wildflower mix, designed to attract bees and other beneficial insects. This blend features annual species commonly found in natural, undisturbed environments, ensuring a vibrant and diverse display.
The seed mix includes Corn Chamomile, Corn Cockle, Cornflower, Corn Marigold, and Poppy, complemented by Browntop Bent, Strong Creeping Red Fescue, Crested Dogstail, Meadow Fescue, and Sheeps Fescue grasses. Each 200g pack contains 15g of seeds, combined with vermiculite to ensure even distribution during sowing.
For best results, sow in a sunny or lightly shaded spot with well-drained soil of any type. Simply clear the area of stones and weeds, loosen the soil, and rake it smooth. Shake the box well and scatter the contents at a rate of 25-30g per square metre (approximately 8 tablespoons). Water the area thoroughly immediately after sowing.
Sow from mid-March to June or September to November. Expect flowers in the summer from a spring sowing, or the following spring from an autumn sowing. Annuals will flower in their first year and self-seed for subsequent years, while perennials typically flower from their second year onwards (though some may flower in their first year if sown early). Water regularly, especially during dry spells, until established. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooms and keep the area weed-free.
