Thompson and Morgan Verbena Bonariensis Lollipop Plant in Pot 1L

Verbena ‘Lollipop’ presents masses of vivid purple blooms in tight clusters atop slender stems throughout the summer. This shorter, more compact version of the traditional tall verbena reaches only half the height, rendering it ideal for patio pots or grouped within borders, where its airy habit introduces texture and softness to any planting scheme. Exceptionally nectar-rich, it's a magnet for butterflies, bees, and other pollinating insects. Incredibly easy to cultivate and drought-tolerant, it's perfectly suited to container growing. Once established, Verbena ‘Lollipop’ delivers a stunning display with minimal fuss, requiring only occasional watering and no staking. Being a fully hardy perennial, expect a repeat performance each summer. Plant outdoors in a sheltered, sunny spot in well-drained soil, watering thoroughly after planting. Feed and water regularly until established. Verbena flowers do not require deadheading. In autumn, apply a dry mulch of bark chips or straw to protect the crown during winter. Cut back old stems in spring when new shoots emerge at the base of the plant.
