Thompson & Morgan Sweetcorn Ovation F1 30 Seeds Packet

Create your own green sanctuary with the Thompson & Morgan Sweetcorn Ovation F1 30 Seeds Packet. This mid-season variety produces sweet, large crops measuring between 20 and 23 cm, comprised of approximately 12 to 14 rows of kernels. Individual seeds should be sown at a depth of 2 cm (0.75 inches) in 5 cm (2-inch) pots filled with quality seed compost to minimise root disturbance. Sow at a temperature of 15°C (59°F) either under glass or in a propagator. Direct sowing in warm soil outside can begin from mid-May. Allow the plants to grow steadily and gradually harden them off before transplanting from late May or once frost risks have diminished. For optimal pollination, plant in blocks with a spacing of 38 cm (15 inches) both ways. A fertile soil in full sun is preferred for growth. Product Specifications: Hardiness: Half-hardy. Position: Full Sun. Height: Up to 200 cm. Spread: Up to 45 cm. Supplied as 1 packet containing 30 seeds of Sweetcorn 'Ovation'.
