Thompson and Morgan Strelitzia Bird of Paradise Plant Pot 13cm

The Strelitzia, or Bird of Paradise plant, is so named for its unusual blooms. Picture citrus orange flowers, highlighted with midnight blue, that give the impression of a bright bird perched upon ribbed, blue-green foliage. It's easy to see why this plant becomes a focal point wherever it's placed! A tropical showstopper, it makes a real statement with its size and striking appearance. Plant your Strelitzia in a container using loam-based compost, such as John Innes no. 3, and give it plenty of light, but shield it from scorching sun. Water generously during the growing season, and ensure good ventilation if kept indoors. Position in sun or semi-shade. Expect a height of up to 2m and spread of up to 1m when fully grown.
