Montana' Strawberry is a charming, compact variety, perfect for adding beauty to your garden. Enjoy its lovely white flowers, some parts of which are edible. This plant yields aromatic, sweet fruits in May, June, and September. Imagine savouring them fresh, warmed by the sun.
Reaching a height and spread of 20cm (8"), plant strawberry runners in autumn or late spring in a sunny, sheltered spot with well-manured, free-draining soil. Space plants 45cm (18") apart in rows 75cm (30") apart. Spread out the roots and ensure the crown sits just above the surface, avoiding deep planting to prevent rot.
Alternatively, try growing in hanging baskets or specially designed strawberry planters on your patio. Please note plant height and spread is seasonal, and arrival images are for indication only.
