Plant in late summer or autumn for a dazzling show, and enjoy the easy care as foliage dies back naturally after flowering. How to Grow: Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn in moist, well-drained soil, avoiding particularly wet areas. Choose a sunny position sheltered from strong winds. Plant bulbs approximately 15cm deep and 13cm apart. Avoid shallow planting as tulips require a period of winter cold to flower successfully in spring. After flowering, deadhead the faded flowers and allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it.
