Thompson and Morgan Pumpkin Zombie Seeds

Transform your garden into a delightful spooky space with the Thompson and Morgan Pumpkin Zombie Seeds. Pumpkin seeds are perfect for creating a vibrant harvest, growing on both vining and non-vining bushes. These summer squashes, suited for allotments, produce fruit from late summer to autumn. The thick, warty surface of the pumpkins makes them ideal for carving during Halloween, while the leftover flesh can be transformed into a comforting winter soup. For optimal growth, sow pumpkin seeds indoors between April and June for later transplanting. Plant seeds on their sides in small pots with seed compost, approximately 2.5cm deep. Use a propagator or seal pots in a plastic bag at a temperature of 20 to 25°Celsius until germination occurs within 5 to 7 days; light is essential for this process. Once seedlings have grown in cooler conditions until frost risk has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into warm, well-drained, humus-rich soil with full sun exposure. An alternative option is to directly sow outdoors from late May to June, placing the seeds at a depth of 2.5cm and roughly 1.2m apart. Thin to one seedling per hole after germination and mound the soil to ensure proper drainage while maintaining consistent moisture. A general fertiliser can be applied a few weeks after planting.
