Compact and versatile, these bulbs grow to around 20cm tall, perfect for patio containers, window boxes, borders and pathways, or even indoors for a fresh spring display. Supplied as a 10 bulbs, they're easy to grow in moist, fertile soil or potting compost and can be enjoyed year after year. How to Grow: Plant Hyacinth 'Spring Beauty' bulbs in autumn in moist, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Plant approximately 10cm deep and 8cm apart. For indoor displays, plant bulbs in containers of bulb fibre or potting compost, leaving the tip of the bulb just above the surface. Place in a cool, dark, well-ventilated position at a maximum temperature of 7°C for around 6 weeks. Water only when necessary to keep the compost moist. When shoots reach around 3cm tall, move the containers to a cool, bright position indoors. Water container-grown hyacinths carefully, avoiding both waterlogging and allowing the compost to dry out. After flowering, you can plant indoor hyacinths outdoors so they can flower the following spring again.
