Pieris japonica ‘Flaming Silver’ is a striking evergreen shrub, perfect for adding interest to almost any garden. Its young foliage emerges a vibrant red, gradually transforming to dark green with distinctive silver-white margins. In spring, clusters of creamy white, bell-shaped flowers hang gracefully, providing a beautiful contrast to the foliage. Ideal for beds, borders, or even large containers filled with ericaceous compost. ‘Flaming Silver’ is a hardy variety, though young plants may benefit from winter protection. After flowering, a light trim will maintain its shape and remove any dead or damaged growth. Established plants require minimal pruning. Suited for patio displays, cottage gardens, low-maintenance gardens, or as a specimen plant.
