Adaptable and thriving in average room temperatures between 18°C (65°F) and 24°C (75°F), ensure the temperature never dips below 12°C (55°F). Position your Philodendron where it can enjoy several hours of bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight to maintain the vibrant colours and variegation of its foliage. Low light conditions may cause the leaves to revert to a darker green. Keep it away from cold draughts and radiators.
Water regularly, allowing the top half of the compost to dry out between waterings, and ensure the plant never sits in standing water. Feed your Philodendron regularly from March to September during its active growth period. To enhance humidity, place the plant on a tray filled with pebbles and water, or mist the foliage daily with a fine spray.
