To get started, pot up the petunia plants and nurture them in warm, frost-free conditions before transplanting them outdoors. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching, resulting in a bushier plant with even more flowers.
Once the risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise the plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days.
