Ideal for gardeners with busy lives, simply water and await the profusion of blooms.
For best results, pot up your petunia plants and nurture them in a warm, frost-free environment before transplanting. Pinching out the growing tip of each stem encourages branching, resulting in a bushier plant with even more flowers later on. Once the risk of frost has completely passed, gradually acclimatise the plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Then, transplant them into baskets, window boxes, or containers filled with well-drained soil in a sunny location.
Remember to feed and water your petunia plants regularly, especially during hot, dry spells. Regular deadheading of spent flowers will encourage continuous blooming throughout the summer months.
