Achieve a vibrant summer display with ease using our Petunia ‘Surfinia’ Collection. These fast-growing and vigorous petunias are ideal for creating stunning displays in hanging baskets, flower pouches, and containers. Their vigorous nature ensures a profusion of blooms, almost obscuring the foliage.
Alternatively, create a more informal display by allowing them to trail over walls in a cascade of trumpet-shaped flowers.
To get started, pot up your petunia plants and nurture them in a warm, frost-free environment until they are ready for transplanting. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching, resulting in a bushier plant with an abundance of flowers.
Once all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise the plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Then, transplant them into their final positions in baskets, window boxes, or containers filled with well-drained soil, ensuring they receive full sun.
