To get them started, pot up your petunia plants and nurture them in a warm, frost-free environment until they're ready for transplanting. Pinch out the growing tips of each stem to encourage branching, resulting in a bushier plant with even more flowers. Once the risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Then, transplant them into baskets, window boxes, and containers filled with well-drained soil, ensuring they get plenty of sunshine.
