Admire the vibrant colours of Penstemon ‘Pensham Laura’ year after year; a hardy perennial combining both stamina and beauty. Simple to grow and care for, its slug resistance emphasises its staying power. Few flowers can match the impressive stamina and beauty of penstemons.
For best results, plant in a sunny or semi-shaded spot with fertile, well-drained soil. Once established, penstemons can tolerate drier soils, but dislike heavy, cold, and wet winter soils. If planting in heavy soil, incorporate plenty of coarse grit beforehand. Prolong flowering by removing faded blooms, and protect the roots against winter frost with a dry mulch around the plant's base.
