How to grow: Sow Coleus seed at any time of the year at 21-24°C (70-75°F) on the surface of a good quality seed compost and gently firm down. Keep soil damp but not wet. Do not exclude light. Use a heated propagator or seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-20 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 8cm (3 inch), and later into 15cm (6 inch) pots when plants are well grown. Pinch out shoot tips to encourage bushier plants.
