Bring your garden to life with this Thompson and Morgan Nurseryman's Choice Alpine Plant Pot. A diverse mix of easy-to-grow alpine perennials, perfect for adding foliage, flowers, colours and textures to your garden displays. Suitable to grow almost anywhere in your garden.
Varieties are selected at random and may include Dianthus, Iberis, Erodium, Santolina, Pritzelago, Arabis, Armeria, Sedum, Veronica, Saxifraga, Lamium, Chiastophyllum, Leptinella, Lewisia, Potentilla, Cotilla, Sisyrinchium, Viola, Aquilegia and Silene.
Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. For heavier soils, improve drainage by incorporating grit before planting, and avoid locations prone to winter waterlogging as plants may rot in cold, wet conditions. Post-planting, apply a coarse grit layer around the soil surface, so that it surrounds the plant, to enhance drainage and reduce the risk of leaf and crown rot. Regularly deadhead spent flowers to prolong the flowering period. In spring, divide overcrowded clumps to maintain plant vigour.
