How to Grow:.
Light: For best results, grow in cool, sheltered conditions until spring to prevent rotting, in a sunny or semi-shaded location.
Temperature: Thriving in fertile, free-draining soils, incorporate well-rotted compost and sharp grit if necessary.
Watering: Maintain consistent moisture, ensuring the soil remains damp but not waterlogged. During cold, wet winters, provide extra protection with a cloche.
Feeding: Minimal feeding is required; however, incorporating compost during planting will provide added nutrients.
Maintenance: Little maintenance is needed once established. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in spring to maintain vigour.
