Create a stunning garden display with the Lily Pretty Woman. These lilies produce large, pure white blooms on tall stems, year after year. Their delicate fragrance adds to their charm, making them a captivating addition to beds, borders, or containers. Best enjoyed in the garden (you'll struggle to find a vase large enough!), these Oriental lilies thrive in moist, well-drained soil that's slightly acidic to neutral and rich in organic matter. Prepare the soil with plenty of well-rotted manure or compost before planting. For container planting, use a loam-based compost like John Innes No.2. Plant bulbs about three times their height deep and 15cm (6 inches) apart in a sunny, sheltered spot. Regular feeding and watering are key throughout the growing season, keeping the soil consistently moist. When cutting flowers, leave a third of the stem to support the bulb for next year. Over winter, reduce watering, move containers to a cool, frost-free area, and add a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost in spring.
