Thompson & Morgan Leek Mercurian Seeds

Enjoy a reliable and flavoursome addition to your garden with Thompson & Morgan Leek Mercurian Seeds, offering straight white tender stems that stay upright and save space on your allotment, while providing a long harvest window from autumn into winter. You'll love how easy they are to grow indoors or outdoors, and how well they suit soups, stews and hearty dinners, all while delivering a boost of folic acid, potassium, pro-vitamin A and vitamin C. How to grow: Alternatively, sow thinly directly outside, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Carefully lift when plants are large enough to handle and transplant from mid-June to mid-July at a spacing of 23-25cm apart and 45cm between rows, using a trowel or dibber, and water in. Water the plants thoroughly after planting. Keep watered during dry weather. Earth up the stems during the growing season to increase the length of the blanched stem. High in folic acid, potassium, pro-vitamin A and vitamin C. The generous packet includes 75 seeds.
