Transform garden borders with the Thompson and Morgan Iris Re-Blooming Collection Rhizome 10 Pack that brings vibrant colour twice a year and fills the air with a delicate scent, making them perfect for both outdoor displays and indoor vases. Enjoy a collection of hardy, drought-tolerant bearded iris rhizomes in mixed colours, including rust orange, light blue, violet, golden yellow and wine red, each offering impressive disease and insect resistance. With majestic blooms appearing in spring and again in autumn, you'll appreciate their resilience and beauty, especially when planted in a sunny spot with well-drained soil where the rhizomes can bask in the summer sun. Collection comprises: Iris Orange Harvest - Rust orange flowers. Iris Victoria Falls - Light blue iris flowers. Iris Cantina - Violet blooms. Iris Buckwheat - Golden yellow petals. Iris Pass the Wine - Wine red flowers. A sunny position in well-drained soil is ideal for growing iris. Bearded iris rhizomes prefer an open position where the rhizomes can bake in the summer sun, without being shaded by other plants. These perennials require a very free-draining soil, so amend heavy clay soils with plenty of grit and well-rotted manure prior to planting. When planting iris, ensure that the rhizome sits just at the soil surface, as they are prone to rot if planted too deeply. Position: Full Sun. Flowering period: May to June and August to September.
