Thompson and Morgan Ile d'Amour Tulip Bulb 16 Pack

Give your outdoor space a burst of fresh colours with the Thompson and Morgan Ile d'Amour Tulip Bulb 16 Pack. The bulbs fill your garden with bold red blooms, creating a striking spring display that lifts your outdoor spaces and brings lively colour indoors. Growing to about 45cm, these tulips thrive in beds, borders and patio containers, and their sturdy stems make them perfect for vibrant cut flower arrangements. With a classic cup-shaped form and reliable flowering, you'll enjoy a refreshing burst of colour every spring, whether you plant them in groups or mix them with other varieties for a cottage garden feel. How to grow: Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn in moist, well-drained soil, avoiding particularly wet areas. Choose a sunny position sheltered from strong winds. Plant bulbs approximately 15cm deep and 13cm apart. Avoid shallow planting, as tulips require a period of winter cold to flower successfully in spring. After flowering, deadhead the faded flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer.
