- Beautiful lacy white blooms in summer
- Ideal for north-facing walls with limited sunlight
- Heart-shaped leaves turn buttery yellow in autumn
Introduce a touch of elegance to your garden with Hydrangea Anomala Petiolaris, a stunning climber that thrives even in shaded areas. Perfect for those north-facing walls and fences that receive little sunlight, this climbing Hydrangea will reward you with beautiful lacy white blooms throughout the summer months. The dark green, deciduous foliage provides a striking backdrop to the flowers, transforming into buttery yellow hues each autumn, brightening up even the most secluded corners of your garden.
This RHS Award of Garden Merit winning variety is known for its exceptional garden performance. While it may take a little time to establish, once it does, it will quickly scale walls and fences using its clinging aerial roots.
Supplied as 2 x 9-litre potted plants, the Hydrangea Anomala Petiolaris can reach a height of up to 10m (32') and spread up to 3m (10') when fully established. It thrives in sun, semi-shade or dappled shade. Flowering occurs from June to August. Please note that the height and spread of the delivered plant will vary depending on the season, and images are for guidance only, showing the expected results from mature plants. Different growing conditions might vary results, and the delivered plant's appearance may differ due to seasonal changes (e.g., deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Please note: This product cannot be delivered outside the United Kingdom.
